I have a 1989 250 DA. I want to add seating at the rear. There is a padded length of material there that is hinged at the top. I think that is the back rest. Any pics would be great. Also the drivers seat is rotted and falling apart. Is there any info on removing it from its base so I can have it rebuilt? One more thing. The drain at the bottom step going into the cabin has rotted away and the bottom fills with rain water. What is the size and is it a 90 degrees fitting?

These may help. The problem with the drain may be due to rotted core material. If the core material checks out with a moisture meter or hammer then the fitting should be accessible from the mid cabin on the port side
