I have a 1980 300 Express Cruiser. I’ve got some work to do with rotten stringers, and so I’m considering some other remodels/upgrades while I have the thing gutted.
I'm particularly curious about the cockpit seating and entertainment options that are shown in the original manuals. Every picture of the cockpit layout shows curved bench seating behind the helm and passenger seats. Does anyone own an EC with those seats from the factory? They would seem to cover the engine hatches. I’d like to add that to mine while I’m doing other glass work, but I’m not really sure how to add it without hindering access to the engines.
Any insight would be appreciated.
