My 1994 Sea Ray 440 has ceiling...

My 1994 Sea Ray 440 has ceiling lights throughout. 3" diameter 

You would think that turning them left would unscrew them, they dont seem to budge.

The interior lights on my 2000 380DA are retained to the ceiling panel w/ a pair of spring clips, similar to the lamp in this link.

It is pulled away from the ceiling, using fingertips.

It is replaced by preloading the springs, then inserting into the hole.
