I have a 2002 220 bowrider, new to me in 2015. Gelcoat needed serious attention and now just need the usual clean, wax and polish process each year. Can't do this anymore by hand so can anyone recommend using a rotary vs. orbital buffer? Is one better than the other for polishing or waxing? The oxidation is very light.
Thanks everyone.

I use a Shurhold Orbital polisher. Works great and designed so you can't screw up the gelcoat with swirls. Just did my Sea Ray 290 a few weeks ago and it was actually FUN!

I use Maguire's Marine Wax with my Griot's Garage random orbital polisher to keep the balcony nice and shiny. I can do my entire 185 Sport in about 90 minutes.
