I’m sure I I am doing this wrong but I have a 340 D Sundancer year 2000 and I am trying to find a replacement horn for the front it is flush mount thank you very much

Next, on my 2000 380DA, the horns are accessed in the bow anchor locker. On my boat, the horn hull side grill goes to a small anchor locker box. The top of that box has a pair of downward pointing small electric horns.
Your boat may be similar.

They sell those horns everywhere but they don't last too long. West Marine or Searay dealer about the same price.

on our 2006 it is accessed through the anchor locker as on the 380 above. We replaced ours twice and third time around I went with dual trumpets on the arch. Much louder, gets attention when coming out of marina slip, etc. Wired straight to the existing horn circuit.

Knocking on wood, my original horns are still working fine.
If everything is very quiet and the ear is near the port bow, then the OEM horns may be heard very well.
Long ago I designed and installed a custom high volume high pressure compressed air system to feed a Kahlenberg 117 whistle and Kahlenberg D-1 air horns.
The whistle has a very sweet and loud 360° sound. It is perfect if the person being alerted is to the rear.
The air horns are deep, rich and unbelievably loud. They sound like cruise ship horns. It is not appropriate to sound the horns if someone is on the bow.

Winglass those look nice. I didn't go the compressor route, just a nice pair of electric horns that are not overly loud but get the attention of other boaters, etc. The duck quack just wasn't doing it.

I too want to replace my “electronic” sounding horn with something better. I have a Sundeck 260 with the horn recessed in the bow, with just a slotted cover on it. Are there any replacements for this?
